The CLD-3 dual-purpose instrument has two functions: static penetration test and cross plate shearing: when performing static test, the 10cm static single bridge or double bridge probe is used to measure the penetration resistance Ps or cone of the foundation soil. End resistance Qc and side friction resistance Fs. For the cross-plate shear test, the undrained shear strength Cu of the saturated soft clay is measured using a cross-plate sensor (probe).
The instrument does not require power and machine power. It is shaken by human force and is suitable for clay, silt, fine sand and other soil layers. It can be tested in soft soil areas for more than 30 meters.
After years of application and development, the instrument has been perfected, with stable performance, convenient operation, light and flexible, and is well received by many survey users at home and abroad.
